Half-Hourly Consumption Data

So that our customers can engage with their smart meter data to help identify ways to reduce energy use, from 1st December 2022 we are offering up to 12 months’ historical data. 

If you’d like access to the energy consumption data from your smart or AMR meter/s, please let us know by completing the form on this page. If you want to contact the team about customer or third party data requests, then please write to [email protected].

We or one of our metering agents will respond to you within 10 working days. Please note that if you are a 3rd party requesting data on behalf of a customer we will need proof of permission to access this data (an LOA).

 

If you aren't sure what the LOA should include, please ensure it contains the following:

  • Company headed paper
  • Dated
  • Broker(s) name
  • An explanation of the data access rights the customer is allowing
  • Customer name
  • Customer's signature

This data will be supplied in a machine-readable format, usually a CSV file. Please note that this data may come from different sources depending on the type of meter you have installed. 

Currently, we can provide usage data for between 1 and 12 months, depending on contract start date.

You or your nominated energy broker can use this information to validate invoices, inform procurement decisions, run tenders and manage energy usage and emissions.

Yes. These data exports are currently provided on a one-off basis, so you will need to complete a new submission each time.

No, as long as you have specified each meter in the original request. Please note that we will supply a separate data file for each meter.
